Log Day 18

Day 18 20.07.cy113

wow i overslept. unfortunately the market was not kind to me and none of my sell orders sold and no one sold to my buy orders.

i spent most of the day studying my Gallente Frigate skillbooks and i went to lunch and socialized with an old friend with whom i've made quite a bit of art in the past.

once he left i continued my Frigate studies and learned a little more about how wormholes and warpdrives actually work.

following that i decided to put my foot down and i finally replaced my old Gallente Destroyer Subclavian with a brand new Amarr Coercer which i plan on naming Volar after the volar digital veins of the fingers. the Amarr Coercer reminds me of a hand of sorts, curved to pounce, so this seems like an appropriate name.

my new ship is sitting about 21 jumps away in the Carthum Conglomerate Production Plant in the Cleyd system. it's Amarr space, which i hate the feel of, but i dearly love their ship design. i think it's the horror that is behind them, the absolute sickness of humanity that the Amarr culture is, and thus where these ships were birthed.

i have just docked but i have a bit of studying i need to do before i can even begin to pilot my new ship. i think i'll get to that and then rest because it's been a long day and i am meeting with some art pals tomorrow again.

Log Day 17

Day 17 19.07.cy113

it's been a long day i visited with my parents back home and we socialized a bit. we even watched a Carl Sagan holovid together, it was definitely something special.

i made some strides today by purchasing two cruisers (though unfortunately i cannot fly them yet) thanks to a generous donation from my Sagan Clan pal Johim. two Thorax model cruisers to be precise.

after quite a few jumps (22 exactly) i went the furthest i've ever gone in New Eden from the Arnon system in Gallente space to the Mehatoor system in Amarr space. this is where i have my Thorax cruisers sitting while i train to use them.

after the 22 jumps back to Arnon, i met up with Mina and my corp buddy Damarius. Damarius kindly offered us assistance with our mission and we were able to clear out all 6 drone nests. i also learned from Damarius that i can use my Salvager I on the drone wrecks. i salvaged quite a bit of material (considering i am pretty proficient at salvaging due to my studies) and went to the Essence region to offload most of what i had recovered.

i am now headed back to Arnon for some much needed rest. it has been a long day and i'm beat.

Log Day 16

Day 16 18.07.cy113

so i met up with Mina and we continued our mission running for Sister Alitura. all was going fine and well until disaster struck.

i was flying Subclavian (Gallente Destroyer Class: Catalyst) and she was flying her Minmatar Destroyer Class: Thrasher. Sister Alitura sent us to recon on a mysterious drone who had jumped through a few spatial rifts on an earlier mission. we arrived at the site and all was quiet. we saw an acceleration gate and a swarm of drones. that was no trouble though, we took care of them rather quickly. we activated the gate and were thrust into a crowd of even more powerful drones. one hit me with a warpfield disruptor and another slowed me with a stasis field. my shields were weakening and my armor started to buckle but we were both able to warp out. i repaired my shields and armor and warped back in...this time we weren't so lucky,

same thing happened, surrounded by these powerful drones and firing away. we were both caught in statsis fields and we both tried to warp out but to no avail. my shields disappeared and my armor melted away. my hull started on fire and i knew i was done for. i began to scream, sure i had lost ships before, but not like this.

the drones ripped Subclavian to shreds but i was able to eject my Capsule safely (despite minor shield damage on it as well.) i warped out as fast as i could just as the same fate befell Mina. she too lost her Destroyer and was forced to warp back to station.

i was furious, furious at Sister Alitura, furious at the damn drones but most of all furious at myself. how could i lose a ship? i knew it was bound to happen eventually in this grand universe but why me? thankfully i had insured my ship to the utmost but unfortunately Subclavian was equipped with both my Salvager I and my Miner I so i have placed orders for new ones of those.

i have yet to replace Subclavian but i have set my sights on an Amarrian Coercer. i know the Amarr are slaver scum, but their ship designs appeal to me on some sort of subconscious level. i think it's the curves mixed with the harsh angles, they hold a sense of restrained violence.

this has been a learning experience, and i will definitely grow from this. i already have been given advice from a few random fellow capsuleers. i think i will petition my corp for further assistance tomorrow.

Log Day 15

Day 15 17.07.cy113

i went to work for Uadez again today. she seriously has some issues, she had me fetching teddy bears for her that some guy had stolen and hid and then she had me kill him and bring her his "skin suit." what a crazy universe we live in. out here amongst the stars morals are simply that which we use to justify our horrendous acts.

on a brighter note, i was accepted into the ranks of The Sagan Clan. i can only assume my surname brought me luck in the selection process, because who better to be a member than the long distant relative of the great Dr. Carl Sagan. some socializing was done and a few procedures i will keep to myself and the corps secrecy.

i also met with my art collective, Aorta VI, from the time before i became a capsuleer. it was good to see my old friends again and make some art together.

all in all it has been a good day, i've spent some ISK and acquired some too. it sure is a complicated life being a capsuleer amongst the New Eden stars.

Log Day 14

Day 14 16.07.cy113

i spent most of the day studying and had a bit of recreation time with this hologame called L.A. Noire. it seems to be cobbled together from bits and pieces we have gathered from the history of before the EVE Gate was even created. it's quite an amazing experience to be transported back to such a different place than we have now. today has just been a slow day but i enjoyed a bit of rest, which is always welcome in the life of a capsuleer.

Log Day 13

Day 13 15.07.cy113

i met with a friend today whom i hadn't seen in many months. it seems i have been doing that quite a lot recently, but when you are a capsuleer in training that seems to be the way of things. now that i am back into the real world and away from my studies i can reconnect with all those i lost touch with while away. it's been a fun and socializing experience, and i have regailed them with many a tale of my flights across the galaxy. holovids are always exciting, and there are many i missed while i was away at my studies.

i felt overcome with hunger and set out to have a grand feast. it was exceptional, from my favorite restaurant in New Eden, El Sombrero. it serves a sort of classic cusine from early in human history. it's been a joy to have in such close proximity. after that i met with my parents who i hadn't seen in some time. we watched a holovid of Carl Sagan's Cosmos and i bid them adieu.

now i am back to my space travels and am meeting up with Mina to continue our journeys and mission running for the Sisters of Eve.

we have returned after a long day of mission running, i think it's time i went to bed.

i have invited a longtime friend of mine to the capsuleer lifestyle and he may be joining me today. otherwise i am back to mission running with Mina.

Log Day 11

Day 11 13.07.cy113

i met with an old non-capsuleer friend of mine today and we had some stimulating conversation. we talked about everything from holovids to the perception of reality and the evolution of the human species. how much there is that we just don't know and how much there is that we have yet to discover. this is why i am an explorer, this is why i do what i do. we had a nice lunch and made some comics together as us Intaki artists are prone to do. it was a full day and, despite the distraction, i feel my studies in Electronics were successful.

i am currently doing a few more assignments for Uadez in hopes of making some progress toward some sort of financial security for myself. my current balance is around 18mil ISK but that is suprisingly not enough to sustain one with a life such as this one i have chosen. ships are expensive and skillbooks cost both time and money. New Eden is not a galaxy that stops, and i am not about to get left behind.

i have finished a line of assignments from Uadez. it turns out the Sutendi Virtu-Real enhancements were causing problems, but it seems the Caldari were in fact scrambling them and i made short work of their scrambling beacon. it's all in a days work. Uadez is quite a psychopath, she is currently having me "off load" a group of homeless from the Sisters of EVE Bureau to CBD Corporation Storage. she can sure be a cold-hearted bitch some times.

it's late so i should be off to bed.

Log Day 10

Day 10 12.07.cy113

i applied to The Sagan Clan last night and am looking forward to joining. i just spoke with the CEO and am anxiously awaiting further response. Mina and i are about to run a few missions for Sister Alitura and will be back soon.

i saved a cook and a doctor from some ship wrecks for Sister Alitura and took part in an airshow for Uadez. i am feeling pretty accomplished and altogether successful. i have gotten more essential items for my scanning Heron Vein and i am excited to get to use it.

i am beginning to get tired of scanning. it seems i need to scan lowsec systems, which i have no hope of surviving in, to find anything worth my time. in highsec all i find is wormholes (which i have even less of a chance of surviving in) and combat sites. my dream of salvaging from ruins and wrecks is being dashed much like the ghostships i dream of. times are getting dire and i need to either shape up or ship out.

i did a few more missions for Uadez...i hope tomorrow goes better.

Log Day 9

Day 9 11.07.cy113

so i woke up at 07:40 today for a meeting with my opthamologist. it seems there is a chance of a future problem with my eyes going completely blind, apparently our technology isn't as advanced as we once believed. fortunately my chances of going blind, while long term, are thankfully slim. i have finished my basic level training in Astrometrics and have begun some miniscule training of Electronics Upgrades. my current outset of skill learning looks good and i have been awarded the Basic level certification in both Armor Tanking and Cartography. i am also gaining more experience in scanning which is all to important in the field of exploration. i am going to meet with Sister Alitura and see what she has for me to do in the meantime.

i met with Sister Alitura and, after investigating the wreckage of a ship she wanted me to check up on, i met with an associate of hers named Tevis Jak whom in the Tar system. they seem like stand up people but i am wary of these Servant Sisters of Eve. i took up a few jobs from Uadez Gothan but she too is an odd bird. she had me blow up the Center for Scientific Advancement in the Laurvier system. i was very hesitant but ISK can make you do things that are against your better judgement. Concord didn't seem to have a problem, but i question Uadez's mental state. the facts of her being Amarrian and holding the strange religious beliefs of a heaven beyond the EVE gate are utterly unnerving. i had hoped as a race we humans had moved beyond pure fantastic superstition but it seems all too alive and well.

i did one mission for Sister Alitura with my friend Mina. we saved a janitor from a few scum bastards and then took to the further stars to explore some of the sites i'd scanned down the other day. unfortunately for us they were long since abandoned, i should've known. i consulted with a company called M.E.T. about a neural remap, it looked as though this relatively simple procedure would alter my previous attributes to better fit my chosen skills. i undertook the suprisingly quick procedure and was back out amongst the stars in no time but as what seemed to be a new man. i am more adept at learning new astrometric techniques now and my learning pace should quicken in the coming days. i came to the realization that the Caldari ship Heron is more fitting for my exploration goals (as opposed to the mediocre Gallente Imicus) and have thus purchased one and am training to pilot it as i write this. i may be partial to Gallente political sensibilities, but their ship designs often leave something to be desired.

when i go outside of the Sisters station i tend to want to be alone so i warp over to Arnon VI. it is an uninhabitated world that is not available for colonization. no one ever visits Arnon VI so i find it comforting to sit in high orbit above it and wonder what kind of world it is, or could become. i suppose i find a kinship with Arnon VI and it's distance from the rest of the populated system. the info scan depicts it as a barren planet or "dead terrestrial" but i can't help but wonder if something lies down within it's flood channels or frozen in it's vast ice fields. i recall some surviving works by an H.P. Lovecraft who spoke of ancient beings who traveled the depths of space and landed on one called Earth many millenia past and after eons were frozen under sheets of ice. sure it's unlikely that a species could survive in the vaccuum of space but the concept amazes and astounds me.

my newest friend Sara Seraph is teaching me how to use my directional scanner and it's quite informative. i find her interesting (to say the least) and hope to learn more from here. i have asked to go on a, what she calls, fishing trip with her. i'm not sure what that entails but i'm excited to be talking to her nonetheless.

my head is acheing terribly and i think it's a combonation of not sleeping well when camping, having to wake up early for my doctor's appointment and all around tiredness. i won't blame the remap, that's a proven technology and it's unlikely i'd have some side effect from it.

Day 8 10.07.cy113

after a hard day and night of camping i am finally back to the stars. it was an enjoyable experience but i am glad to be amongst the galaxies and nebulae again. i have gotten one step closer to finishing my Astrometrics studies and have begun training Astrometric Pinpointing. I am off to find some new phenomena in the cosmos.

i have scanned quite a bit but have yet to find a Magnetometric site. it's been a slow day and after the poor sleep i had last night i'm going to call it a night early.

Log Day 6

Day 6 08.07.cy113

woke up ready and raring to go. i'm picking up two courier contracts again that total to 320k ISK. after that i'll look into the Sisters of EVE.

wow in the heat of the moment i took up a few more courier contracts and am now in Minmitar space, the Pator system currently, and will dropping my deliveries at the Eystur system. i am probably going to meet up with Mina Lege though i don't know what we'll do.

met Mina, and DJ Moz on EVE Radio is playing the best song: Fiend Flug - Kahle Bedrohung (invader moz mix) must remember it for future reference. Mina and I have decided to both move to the Arnon system to meet up with the Sisters of EVE at the Sisters of EVE Bureau. it's a big step but at least i have a friend with me.

so i'm on my last moving trip, it's been a bit tiring but i've been keeping up on my Astrometrics studies. i can't wait to buy my first (non-civilian) salvager and analyzer to comb the systems for shipwrecks and other ancient things. who knows what is out there waiting to be uncovered. The Sisters of EVE seem to be a stand up corporation to get my feet into the first real muck of New Eden so i am excited to start seeing what they can teach me.

i have discovered an unstable wormhole in the Arnon system. it was a mighty site to behold, it had to have been kilometers across! much bigger than my own Imicus, Vein. i have bookmarked it's location but it may not be there for much longer, wormholes are still fairly new in our understanding of the cosmos. they seem to act like jumpgates but over vast distances into areas unknown. i have been able to control my curiosity and not dive right into it, for fear of my safety, but i did manage to get mere meters away from it's orb like undulating surface. once i feel more capable as a pilot i will not hesitate to dive into that abyss, but for now, i can suffice marveling at the temporary beauty and mystery held within this spacetime warping orb.

i'm going to go to bed early tonight. it's been a long day of moving and unfortunately (other than my wormhole siting) not a very productive one. i will attack my duties head on tomorrow, though, for now, i rest.

Log Day 5

Day 5 07.07.cy113

woke up and am feeling refreshed. before i head out i am going to show around a few friends i met a couple months back while vacationing back home. going to show them the best restaurant around! other than that i'm going to keep training my skills.

back to my comfortable captains quarters. it was nice to catch up with them but i'm ready to get back to the task at hand, finishing up my basic skill training.

been quite distracted by social activities today. will now focus and get to the task of finishing Ettes missions.

finally finished up all my agent training missions and i'm ready to set out for the stars beyond the Trossere branch of the University of Caille. i'm secure in knowing that exploration is the field for me and to do such a field i need to have quite a bit of training. the skillbooks keep stacking but i'm a diligent learner and all to ready to learn everything i can. my first true solo steps begin at this moment, what will i make of myself? will i be a force for good or for evil? will i change the world of New Eden or be forgotten? it's a long road but i'm ready to begin. my Intaki roots are calling me homeward so after a few sales i think that will be my first stop.

it looks like my homeworld of Intaki V is a no go. ever since the Caldari-Gallente war the whole system has been rife with conflict. i'm not ready to enter that fray yet. i'm looking at taking on two courier missions which would take me the furthest from University of Caille than i've ever been. it should be a safe trip but i'm always nervous on courier missions nontheless because of all the collateral they require. i understand that i'm shipping expensive stuff but it's hard to get a foot in the door when it's almost closed. so off i go to the Pucherie and Dunraelare system before my final stop at the Dodixie system. a grand total of 17 jumps for 90 thousand ISK.

in the midst of my couriership i picked up another two contracts...the thing is one takes me through lowsec...Egghelende to be exact...i hear terrible things. i may not survive, and it will be a 1.4mil ISK mistake at the very least. in all likelihood this will be my last entry before waking up as my first clone. i am afraid but i am steadfast. this is the life i have chosen and though i know death will hurt, it is not the end of me for i am immortal. i am a capsuleer.

I HAVE SURVIVED! Egghelende >> Alillere (806 m³) (Courier) my first journey into lowsec and i survived and so did my trusty Artery. i will never forget this moment as I have only begun to define myself in New Eden. as i prepared to enter the abyss i sent out a query on EVE Radio and received advice from one Golakka and he told me i was doomed, but if i lost my ship he would help me, and if i survived he'd give me some ISK. he fulfilled his promise when i returned successful, with a generous donation of 10mil. ISK. it's been a good day.

i am back safe at the Trossere branch of the University of Caille. i'm suprised the university is big enough to allow everyone their own quarters like this. well i guess it is the biggest university in New Eden. i feel so lucky to have been able to attend here and advance to the grade of capsuleer. yes there are many who hold that title but even more that do not. i am one of the envyable few and i know it. i envyed capsuleers from afar ever since i first heard about them 5 years ago. today was an epoch in my capsuleer career and it won't soon be forgotten.

tomorrow i set out to spend my first full day out of school. it'll be intense, it'll be harrowing but most of all it will be fun.

as my friend BlackHuey says "fly dangerously," well i did fly dangerously today...and i will tomorrow too.

Log Day 4

Day 4 06.07.cy113

had to get out quick i overslept. made a few sales overnight and i feel quite studied unfortunately both the dairy products and antibiotics i found were not selling so i've decided to deliver them to the waiting Puchiere and Eglennaert systems respectively. i've just reached my first stop, the Eglennaert system and will be both offing my antibiotics at the Federation Navy Assembly Plant and picking up my Gallente Industrial skillbook at the Federal Intelligence Office Logistic Support. unfortunately i need to learn Gallente Frigate III before I attack that new skillbook and that will be about 2hr45min from now.

after finishing those bits i am off to the Puchiere system to sell my dairy products to waiting hands. it's been a rush of a day thus far but i feel pumped. i don't think i've lost too much time by oversleeping considering my schedule is pretty evening oriented anyway. oh, this day and evening nonsense i am talking about is kind of odd considering i am flying through space and thus around the very planets where the phenomenon of day and night is based. i have a personal time schedule i've established based on my home planet, it's a 24hr system with 06:00-10:59 being morning and the subsequent 12:00-16:59 being afternoon and finally 17:00-24:00-05:59 being evening. it helps to regulate my all too human body to the rigors of having no observable day/night cycle.

i have just arrived at the Puchiere Investment Bank Vault and have just offed those dairy products, heading back to Trossere to continue my agent missions.

EVE Radio is a wonderful thing in the silent expanse it's nice to have music while doing missions and courier contracts. i just finished two courier contracts where i received a grand total of 260,000 ISK and i received a kind donation of 10mil ISK from Frey Corre around when i earned my first 4mil ISK. since Mina helped me with getting my PLEX i gave her around 6mil ISK so we'd be even. that brings my current total to 8,094,967.93 ISK. it's an amazing day today. i have one more assignment from Voenins before i begin my training under Ettes Alureel for advanced military training. it should be interesting.

ok i'm off to bed now. started working with Ettes and it's been interesting, she had me crash a ship into the Serpentis base...they're surely pissed. i rest now...

Log Day 3

Day 3 05.07.cy113

woke up too early and went back to sleep. too restless a night. listening to Blackhuey's podcast at the moment, giving me a bit to mull over while i go about my day. going to check in with Antogase because Voenins next mission requires me to have 500m^3 cargo and i don't have that kind of space.

i've done quite a bit now, finally updated my pilot license so i should be able to fly for 49 more days. spending my ISK too, i dropped below 2mil but i should be back up soon. i got an Iteron that i can use for Voenins mission, it has 3,000m^3 cargo but i can't fly it until i get Gallente Industrial skill level I and Frigate skill level III.

back up to 2,466,791.48 ISK. just made my first contract deal and sold a man my 2 Navitas for 20,000 ISK a piece. pretty good money. i'm looking at trying out this Atron i received but not certain if i'll stick with it. my previous Navitas, Vein, which i still have, still has platinum insurance on it so it's my go-to ship for risky missions. i've been doing a bit of military training and finished my business training up. Antogase is one weird son of a bitch but he gave me good ISK. Berlimaute, my military agent is a bit of a douche. his haircut makes me want to pod everybody! blegh! oh and i got a Pilots Licence Extension (aka PLEX) when Mina decided to move in for the long haul. not sure if i'll sell it or use it. we'll see when my license starts dropping to 7 days.

so today wasn't as eventful as my past days i did quite a bit but only made about 900,000 ISK i have a good idea of my skills i want and am studying dilligently. i have 2/5 agents complete and 15/30 missions complete of the agents left. i have been making friends and all around figuring out how everything works in New Eden. I was introduced to contracts and couriership. i really enjoyed the courier deals i undertook. the only problem currently being that they require a load of ISK (upwards of 4million) for collateral. must be pretty expensive cargo and to add to that it's gotta be shuttled through lowsec space. i am contemplating fitting a fast ship expressly for couriership but if i lost 2 million of my current budget i'd be bankrupt. i think i need at least 4mil to undertake lowsec jobs just in case. i can't afford to lose that much at this point. it's all beginning.

on a different note one of my new friends Eyallyn gave me 900,000 ISK so i could start studying Archaeology. i'm a certified Basic Field Technician but i'm working my way toward Standard level then i can either push for Elite level or move into Cartography. as i've said, there's a whole galaxy out there and it's all just beginning.

Log Day 2

Day 2 04.07.cy113

after having a restful sleep i stretched my legs, got dressed and started studying the basics of Mechanics. i spoke with Potillot, my Exploration Agent and started my training in scanning for Magnetometric sites. this is what most interests me so i'm ready to get started. i was given a skillbook on Surveying and began studying that and i was given a Civilian Analyzer and a Civilian Salvager for my mission.

wow! scanning is tough and a pain sometimes but i feel accomplished when i am successful. i have done Magnetometric and Radar site scans now. for Magnetometric sites one uses a Salvager for ship wrecks and an Analyzer for archeological finds, both sound extremely enticing enterprises. for Radar sites one is actually hacking into a secure system so a Codebreaker is used. apparently security can be notified however and thus will attack! it sounds interesting, especially since the rewards are invention materials, but i'm pretty scared to encounter much opposition. the fellows at sister school EVE University advise me to train under all the career agents, so maybe soon enough i will not be so frightened of combat. for now i am going to rest and study up on Mechanics, Surveying, Frigate operation and Navigation. will write more soon.

after a bit of dinner i started my last assignment from Potillot scanning for Ladar sites. it took quite a long time, there was a sort of issue with the passkey i got, but it worked out fine in the end. i'm sorry to say goodbye to Potillot (though i hated his retarded blonde dreads) but i think i'm ready to move on. i have been advised by my friend Mina Lege that the business track is a good one to get a handle of so i'm going to try for my first mission from Antogase the business agent.

after a little delivery mission and picking up a blackbox from some pirates i have continued to expand my horizons. the next mission Antogase had lined up for me involved some mining so i picked up an assignment from Voenins the mining agent as well. it went pretty well, mining Veldspar is slow but worthwile work. i did get attacked by some Serpentis pirates and i had my blaster off to conserve power! it was intense! i survived with barely a scratch to my shields and made a good haul of Veldspar which i will be refining into Tritanium. i've also just earned my first million ISK! wow it's a day i've been dreaming of for quite some time and now i can say i'm a millionaire!

i have been jumping from agent to agent, making money from agents and selling stuff i get on the side. my balance is around 1mil 700thousand now...raking in ISK is fun and pretty easy, who would have thought? i've met a few friends in my travels and have gone as many as 6 jumps away from my home system of Trossere. i hesitated a little upon entering a system with a 0.5 security rating as i'm used to Trossere's 0.9 security rating but i have yet to run into any real problems. i'm typing this while autopilot takes me back home, and i will rest my head. i've got a lot of studying to do, hopefully those audiobooks i've gotten will assist me in learning while i snooze.

Log Day 1

Day 1 03.07.cy113

this is going to be the log of Vena Cava Sagan (currently Clone 0)

what a strange life this is...flying about in a bubble in the berth of a giant space ship...a "capsuleer" huh? i've always dreamt of space flight and though this is an odd route to take i will now finally get to show the world what i'm made of. the holovids of Carl Sagan's Cosmos keep me open to new ideas and ways of thinking, perhaps i can find my place in this world.

over my years i've learned that in the ancient times someone like me would have required glass coverings called "glasses" over the eyes because i am what is commonly called "near sighted" fortunately in our current age i was able to get ocular implants and though i have what appears to be the absence of an iris it is in fact a correction.

i recently transferred to University of Caille as an art student of the Gallente Federation, here i will learn above and beyond my artistic skills so as to broaden my mind and develop myself further. my instructor here at University of Caille is  Aura Bourynes, she is an AI construct but seems skilled in the ways of educating new capsuleers like me.

Aura taught me how to get in my capsule and fly it around...damn capsules are small yet suprisingly comfortable...now i have a Velator which i have named Blood Cell after the cell which carries oxygen to the necessary cells in your body. i will continue to name my vessels in such a fashion.

having finished basic ship control (damn, going warp is INSANE) and weapons training i have gone to visit the Pozirblant system...there was a fleet stationed at the Academy there. much can be said of the Gallentian ship design aesthetics. i find myself gravitating towards both the Gallente Megathron Battleship and the Gallente Hyperion Battleship. they seem to recall some ancient design perhaps back from where us humans originated something akin to the anime holo-vid Space Battleship Yamato. must keep these ships in mind for future purchase.

after following Aura's instruction i went to the Trossere system and met with an agent. i am following the Exploration track because exploring has always been my passion, seeking the edges of the known (and unknown) cosmos, seeing the unseen and expanding my horizons. i met with Potillot Mumnier and started my first foray into scanning for cosmic anomalies.

after a taste of that i moved on to scanning cosmic signatures. apparently they come in different types: magnetometric, gravimetric, radar and ladar. gravimetric sites contain asteroids to mine, magnetometric contain wreckage and ghost ships, radar contain radar systems i can hack and ladar contain gas clouds i can harvest. the most interesting sounds like magnetometric by far and perhaos the ladar locations.

i recevied a Navitas from Potillot, i have named it Vein I and hope to fly many a mission with it. Blood Cell is still with me but she is in the hangar.

so my first experience with scanning wasn't easy, i tried following the tutorials provided by University of Caille but i had to check VidTube for assistance.

so ends my first day in New Eden, i know it's just the beginning of a madenning adventure.

Vena Cava Sagan signing off.
